The New Moon on Sunday falls in the fiery sign of Leo, the sign of optimism and leadership, to provide us with the motivation and optimism we need to create the life we have always dreamed of. Over the next few weeks try approaching everything that comes up for you with curiosity instead of judgment, try to be the best you can be. The lunar waves of the Eclipses on August 7th and 21st are going to bring in a surge of energy and the New Moon is only the beginning of what is in store for us.
This energy will be unpredictable, bringing a mixture of energies and emotions. It will be asking us to seek the joy, beauty and pleasure in life but it is also going to be calling on us to take responsibility for our actions. We need to lighten up and relax into the flow of life more, but we are going to have to take complete ownership and responsibility for our life choices and what we are choosing to agree or disagree to.
Everything in life happens for a reason, but this is only true because we give them reason. We create the reasons for the things that happen in our lives and we need to remember that it is equal to the amount of energy that we give to them. If we know what is true and right in our hearts, if we know what we really desire and what we don’t, then the mixed signals we experience with the New Moon will be easy to negotiate.
Life is forever changing and evolving and we keep on pushing forward. Although it can be hard to believe, we all chose to be here and we all chose to learn the lessons that we are experience throughout our lives. Your soul chose to come to Earth when you were born for a very particular and special reason, but that reason is totally up to you and what you choose to make of it.
If there is something in your life that you have felt you need to release or embrace, now would be the time to reconsider carefully how you can take responsibility for all of it, and what actions are available to you to get your life to where it needs to be. Ask yourself how you can take responsibility for yourself and your life and where you want to be right now. The answer to these questions may not completely come to light until after the Eclipses of August, but you can start the process of reviewing and assessing the course of your life now.
Reflect upon what was happening in your life during the end of January through to February of this year. Whatever was happening then, may be due for revisit to gain perspective, clarity, closure or the answers you have been seeking over the coming weeks. The vibration of new beginnings for 2017 means we are all starting a new chapter this year in our own way, and this New Moon is guiding us to keep moving forward and journey into this new chapter of our lives.
Be careful you are not taking on too much or spreading yourself too thin, try to find a balance of pleasure and play with your responsibilities. Prioritise the things you truly what you want to do and are aligned with your current vibration. Learn to say No to things that don't inspire and bring you joy. Consider how you are choosing to spend your time.
The New Moon energy will be very positive and energising, but if you find yourself having to face some especially difficult obstacles and challenges, try to take a more relaxed approach and view things from a place of curiosity. Whatever comes up is likely to have a flipside that will be come to light in August.
Try to spend time in the last days of July noticing the joy and simple pleasures of your life as it is now. Be present, be in the moment. August is going to be a big month of transformation, bringing change and a few surprises, so use this time now to rest and conserve your energy.
