Can you believe we are heading into Autumn already! With the Autumn Equinox, Mabon, this month, the energy is about shedding and clearing obstacles, learning and growing and a call for balance, however that looks for you.
I’ve asked the Faeries’ Oracle to guide us with the energy of this month and they blessed me with these two beautiful cards.
Message from the Singers of the Realms. These great ones, whose wings span the multiverse in all dimensions, have a multitude of human names – angels, devas, gods, Dakinis and many others. It does not matter to them what we call them – they just hope that we will call upon them! They are constantly with us, with their energy and compassion always available to us. We just need to ask them for help when needed and be aware of the events and insights that follow our request. What we receive may be very unexpected, but it is always what we actually need!
SINGER OF TRANSFIGURATION
Transformation. Transcendence. Metamorphosis.
This Singer is letting us know that we have been through the gate, we have passed through the initiation process, and we have reached a new way of being, reflecting deep transformation within ourselves. Things will never again be what they once were. Things will never be seen in the same way by us, and this is a good thing! This Singer’s joyful, passionate, bright blaze of colour heralds a time of fulfilment and accomplishment.
As with the other Singers, the power and joy of this one radiates especially strongly to the things and beings symbolized by the cards around it. Like the reborn, renewed phoenix, this Singer is aflame with vibrant, expanded life.
Jackpot! This card represents the joy of success after a time of struggle. A new way of life has been accepted and is being integrated. A sense of inner peace is growing. The struggle has all been worth it. This is a time of consolidation and joy and is both a reward for past achievements and a time of preparation for the next climb up the path.

Message from the Sídhe, the People of the Hills, the lords and ladies of Faery. They are the Old Ones who create, nurture and build the worlds and their inhabitants, but can also act as guardians, teachers and comforters. They seem to enjoy creating frequent miracles as well! Sometimes called gods and goddesses, but this is not how they see themselves. They are the elder race, forerunners, ancient ones. Each of the Sídhe have their own potent magic power that acts through all life. They are profoundly wise, and their actions are for the highest good of all but even though they are powerful there are certainly not formal, stuffy or pompous!
HIMSELF
Natural Law. Life Force. Magic. Shamanic Power.
Known as Himself, this Sídhe is guardian of both the hunter and the hunted – and finds no conflict in that because he understands the many necessary balances of nature. The living bond between all life, Himself is the breath that moves, the atom that dances, and his magic is in pure being – living, loving. Oengus Journeyman and the Master Maker have the magic of doing, of the creation of things. The Bright Mother has the magic of manifesting and nurturing, but Himself – he has the magic of procreation, of dancing the spark of life into being. His presence brings magic and life into a world where it is shaped and given form by Earthmother. He dances as the Bright Mother gives us birth, powering us into the world. He is the Great Father.
At the end of our lives, he is the one who dances the great dance of life and death and it is Himself who, when the piper plays his lonely call on the wave swept shore at year’s end, dances open the gate between the worlds so that the dead may pass beyond. It is also he who is willing to sacrifice himself, when that is necessary, for the sake of those whom he protects.
In between those two extremes, his wild yang energy is channelled through humans to benefit tribe and family. His family is all of us, human and animal. Shamans draw upon his power, and the best healers channel a balance between his power and the Bright Mother’s nurturing energy. Even as our hearts beat within us, we learn to mediate the life force through joyful being and action. Expressing this power through healing and love and trust, we become more like Himself.
When Himself appears, he not only indicates that a great amount of energy is present in the reading, but also strongly energizes the faery cards around him. Everything he touches becomes more of whatever it is – more alive, more vigorous, more powerful, more awesome, or more awful. This can indicate great vitality, victory, or triumph, confidence and power. There is leadership, an ability to command, steadfastness, and integrity – wild power held and channelled for the good of all by will.
Himself speaks of protection, either of the querent or of someone the querent owes protection to, like a child or an elder. Acceptance of paternal responsibility is important, as are deep and committed relationships. He is the preserver of the natural world and its balances.
Shamanic power is present here, as well as a potential for powerful spiritual healing. This card can also represent erotic energy, passion, and potent creativity.
I feel this energy is about honouring how far you have come, celebrating the lessons you have learned and contemplating on what gives meaning to your life. Identify and deal with past issues and leave them in the past, where they belong. This is a time for organising, sorting the wheat from the chaff and finding what works for you. This period of transformation will call for changes in routine and health.

The Taskmaster of the Universe moves forward after being in Retrograde since April. This planet’s retrograde energy teaches us the need for structure, order and discipline in our lives. It teaches us about responsibility, accountability, patience and understanding and karmic lessons of past experiences.

The grounding energy of this New Moon will provide clarity and insight into our uncertainties. We will feel more awakened and empowered as we enter this new cycle, bringing healing and enabling us to tune into our inner wisdom.

FESTIVAL OF GANESHA - CHAUTI
September is the month of the Hindu Festival of Ganesha, called Ganesha Chaturthi or Chauti. Ganesh is known as the Lord of Obstacles or the rather the remover of obstacles and invoked to ensure success. During Chauti, flowers and dishes of rice are placed before his statues to honour and worship him. It is said that this worship will make wishes come true.
The date of Ganesh Chaturthi falls on the fourth day of the waxing moon period (Shukla Chaturthi) in the Hindu month of Bhadrapada. This is August or September each year. The festival is usually celebrated for 11 days, with the biggest spectacle taking place on the last day called Anant Chaturdashi. Anant represents eternal or infinite energy, or immortality. The day is devoted to the worship of Lord Anant, an incarnation of Lord Vishnu (the preserver and sustainer of life, also referred to as the supreme being). Chaturdashi means the fourteenth and the occasion falls on the 14th day of the bright half of the moon during the month of Bhadrapada on the Hindu calendar.

AUTUMN EQUINOX
This is the mid-harvest festival, the fruit harvest when we honour the changing of the season and give thanks for what we have, the abundance of crops or other blessings. It is a time of plenty, gratitude and share our abundance with those less fortunate. A time of equal day and equal night, when nature is in balance, for finishing up old projects and plans and planting the seeds for new enterprises or a change in lifestyle.

This powerful Full Moon has a lot of strength behind it, pushing us to put plans into place that we've been working on, to overcome our fears and take action. This energy will motivate us to keep going and push through any challenges and fear-based resistance.
