Top Tips For Grounding 👣(Root Chakra)

 

Laundry helps you feel the fabric of life and fills your heart with gratitude to have clothes to wear, bed sheets to sleep on and towels to dry yourself with.

 

Music helps you maintain the rhythm of life. So, turn up the music, dance, sing or get outside and listen to the birds and wonderful sounds of nature.

 

Cooking can help you ground with your senses. the smell, taste and look of what you create can help you appreciate food and your creativity with it, especially if you use home grown produce.

 

Cleansing can help you rid yourself of unwanted thoughts and feelings, leaving you refreshed and revitalised. Take a nice soak in a candle lit bath or a long hot shower and wash the blues away.

 

Walking can help you blow the cobwebs away but walking barefoot is incredibly empowering and can give you a wonderful boost of our Earth's energy. Try walking barefoot in the garden or if you are lucky enough on the sand or shore to really feel the elements that our beautiful Earth can give.

 

Planting is a great way to appreciate life. Sowing seeds, nurturing and watching them grow can be very fulfilling. Just digging, weeding or pottering around a garden can bring you closer to nature and the cycle of life. It can provide a feast of home grown produce too.

 

PJ days can be a great way to reflect on life on wintery or rainy days. A good book or film and an adequate supply of chocolate is a great treat but also a great way to rest a tired mind or gain perspective if you're feeling out of sorts.

 

Painting or drawing can be a wonderful way to release negativity and transform them into a beautiful creation. Some of the best classical masterpieces were drawn by artists who had been emotionally driven.

 

Moisturising your skin can be helpful to reconnect with your own body. Try some self-massage on your face, neck, hips, arms, hands, legs and feet to rediscover your beautiful body.

Feeling detached and disconnected can be scary, so when you're feeling this way try to spend time doing things or being with people that you love. Do whatever feels comfortable for you.

 

Remember the universe has shaken you to awaken you. Embrace it, connect with it and therein you will find yourself.
