Micro Moon and also Strawberry, Full Rose Moon or Honey Moon in Sagittarius. Called so by a Native American tribe as this time of year was known for strawberry harvesting.
The energy of this week's Full Moon brings intensity, transformation and optimism. The full moon phase can be challenging and can trigger strong inner conflicts, making us feel on edge and full of energy, but can also release use from physical, mental and emotional blockages or self-imposed limitations.
Emotions will be high as this is an expansive time of romance, relationships and fertility.Sagittarius represents the 'higher mind' and persuades us to think outside of the box. It symbolizes the quest for meaning and ideas that expand upon the 'here and now' and stimulates us to venture beyond it.
So this Full Moon is about communication, attitude, and our sense of adventure. The building up inside of us of something, and now is the time when the energy of the cosmos fairly demands that we let it out. We will, over the next two weeks, discover what this means for us. We can no longer sit on our feelings. it is time to express them. This energy illuminates this conflict between logic and intuition/faith. With the Moon full and bright in the sky, symbolic 'illumination' occurs in our lives. However, these new feelings and revelations are emotional ones, as there is a sense of emotions bursting forth into our consciousness. It’s time to express ourselves and to let things out of our systems. Of course, we might want to exercise caution while doing so, knowing that what is coming out of us is fresh, raw and the world may not be ready for it yet.
This Full Moon forms a square with Neptune, and revelations now might lead to a detour from our goals. We should watch for signs of misinformation. This is a time for opening ourselves up to possibilities, but stay open, nothing is set in stone just yet. The Sun is at the midpoint of Mercury and Mars and trine to Jupiter, pointing to a real desire to understand or master a situation, but the square to Neptune and opposition to Saturn point to a possible block, obstacle, or to incomplete information or lack of readiness. Watch for too-quick decisions, but do pay close attention to what’s illuminated now. Saturn is like the stern teacher of the cosmos and is always ensuring that we have done our homework and understood the karmic lessons that we have been sent to learn.
