Every year the Sun, Earth and Sirius move to specific points
in the sky, activating the Lionsgate Portal. It opens from 26th July to 12th
August but is most powerful on 8th August. It is on this day that we can
receive the full abundance of the magical and powerful energy on offer.
I first heard about Lionsgate while I was on holiday in
Corfu whilst travelling alone with my four youngest children. On arriving there, I
was confronted with a change of apartment in an area that I knew nothing about.
I felt empowered knowing I could do this, but a small part of me was a little
afraid of the unknown. What was happening around me was surreal. Everywhere we
went I kept seeing lions everywhere, on gate posts, t-shirts and even signposts.
On reflection, I now know that they were showing me my faith and courage that
all would be well, and it was. We were given an opportunity to see more of the
beautiful island, experiencing the wonderful hospitality offered to us and we
were able to spend our final week in the place that we had originally booked.
For me, this gave me the insight that I had more courage in me than I ever
thought possible and we enjoyed a fantastic holiday.
So, what is Lionsgate?
It is important to understand what the three cosmic players
(Earth, Sun and Sirius) are all doing.
For the Lionsgate Portal to be activated, the Sun must align
with the star, Sirius, the Spiritual Sun, which is bigger and brighter than our
own Sun and is believed to hold knowledge and wisdom from higher Divine realms.
When the Sun and Sirius meet during this period, their
energies intensify and Earth can receive light energy from both celestial bodies. Our Sun
already warms and nourishes, providing us with the energy of life, so imagine
what happens when it combines its powers with Sirius. Symbolically, it is like
Earth is being bathed with two of the most powerful lights in the sky.
This highly activated and spiritually advanced energy helps
to activate the portal and send an influx of higher vibrational energy for us
which can enhance spiritual awakenings, bring about fresh insights, new
perspectives and can also help to raise the consciousness of the planet.
This star portal is referred to as Lionsgate, as the Sun is
in the constellation of Leo, symbolised by the Lion. The numerology of the day
this portal reaches its peak (8th August or 8.8) represents infinity, power, divine
connection, rebirth and higher realms.
So, what does this mean for you? The message: Find your joy!
Our souls came to this Earth for a human experience, but
many of us are not living up to the fullest potential of our human capabilities.
We came to explore, to taste, to travel, to live and to
experience emotions and the wonder that is our Earth. Sadly, many of us get stuck and
trapped in the mundane daily grind and forget the reason why we are here, what we
came to truly experience.
We all have a spiritual core however we need to find more
gratitude for the human side of life. Being human isn't all bad, we are
incredible, passionate and compassionate beings that have so much to offer the world.
We just need to embrace it and discover what makes us feel most alive. You
can start by asking yourself:
What makes you feel happy or glad to be alive?
What do you want to experience here on Earth that will make
this life worth living?
Get clear about the truth of what really makes life worth
living and then take the steps to make it happen.
If we allow this energy to filter in, Lionsgate will be very

Because this energy is so easily accessible, doing rituals
and working on your heart and third eye chakras can be extremely effective and
potent. It is also a powerful time to do release work to help cleanse away any
blockages that may be present.
